About Metanoia Ministries
Our Vision
Metanoia Ministries is focused on the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).

We are committed to teaching the Bible, nurturing fellowships, and discipling believers to become effective servants of Christ, regardless of background, caste, or denomination.
A Journey of Faith:
Jacob Panicker's Testimony
Jacob Panicker P.L, the founder of Metanoia Ministries, was born and raised in a Marthomite family, where he was exposed to the Scriptures from a young age through Sunday School. However, it was in October 1976, during a student camp, that Jacob accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. His faith journey deepened during his college years as he became involved with the Evangelical Union (EU) meetings through the Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI).​
Jacob’s biblical understanding grew further when he pursued his degree at the Allahabad Agricultural Institute, where he realized that true faith is obedience to Christ and living a life set apart.​
After serving in various capacities, including as Vice President of Federal Bank, Jacob devoted his life to Bible teaching, theological training, and missions. Since 1980, he has been a dedicated student of the Bible and has been actively involved in sharing the Gospel.
​In 2012, while working in Lucknow, God gave him a vision to establish Bible study fellowship groups in North India. By 2022, this vision came to life as Jacob and his team began assisting pastors who lead house fellowships in Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Goa and UP. Additionally, they have extended their work to reach laborers migrating from North India to southern regions.
Our Ministry
Metanoia Ministries also has a growing online presence through its YouTube channel, where daily Bible study messages are broadcast in Malayalam from 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm. These sessions aim to offer sound biblical teaching without the influence of tradition or denominational bias, focusing solely on the Word of God. Each episode concludes with prayers for individuals facing challenges or illnesses, giving glory to the Lord for answered prayers.

We firmly believe that the ministry should be sustained by faith and prayer, without seeking monetary or material favors. Trusting in God's provision, Metanoia Ministries is committed to spreading His word and growing the body of Christ in truth and love.
Our Doctrine

Church is the body of Christ, redeemed by the blood of Christ, called out and separated irrespective of caste, creed, or language.
The essential functions of the Church/Fellowships are:
a) To worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24)
b) Caring, which includes fellowshipping, discipling, and praying
c) Serving and sending
d) Witnessing

We believe the 66 books of the Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, are divinely inspired, infallible, and inerrant, and are the revelation of God to man. They are the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16).

We believe in the one living God, who is Spirit and manifests in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, and His sovereignty in creation, revelation, redemption, and final judgment (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 46:9-10; Matthew 5:18; 1 Corinthians 2:13).

We believe that man was created in the image of God. However, due to the universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature from the fall, man's nature has become depraved and is under God's wrath and condemnation.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, truly man. He lived a sinless life, delivered His message, performed miracles, and offered His atoning death on the cross. After His burial, He rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and continues to intercede for us.

We believe that redemption from the guilt, penalty, and power of sin is only through faith in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. Only the blood of Jesus can redeem man from sin (1 John 1:7; Hebrews 10:14; Colossians 1:20). One must repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, being born again by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3; Romans 10:9).

We believe that the Holy Spirit has a special ministry in the life of the believer, beginning with regeneration, continuing through the experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, sanctification, gifts, ministries, divine healing of the spirit, soul, and body, and deliverance from the power and influence of evil (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; Galatians 5:22-23; Hebrews 12:14; 2 Corinthians 7:1; James 5:14; Mark 16:17; John 3:3-18; Romans 10:9-10).

We believe that Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again a second time, and the Church will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the former to everlasting life, and the latter to everlasting destruction (John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:35-54).

We believe in the Great Tribulation period, the Millennial reign of Christ on earth, the judgment of all the living and the dead, the everlasting punishment of Satan and his angels, and all those who reject the Son of God. We also believe in the future eternity and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 19:19-20; Revelation 20:1-15; Revelation 21:1-27; Revelation 22:1-21).

We believe that every member is called to share their resources for the ministry as a commitment to the Lord, which is part of our spiritual worship (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-11; 1 Timothy 6:6-10; 1 Timothy 6:17-19).
